This website started as a way to record my favourite recipes for my daughter. Lately, all I’ve been uploading is poem after poem after poem.
Google thinks my website is only about food, and, technically, it still is. My poetry is very much based on art that features food in some way. I have been talking a lot about food and recipes, though. But over on Bluesky. There’s a thriving foodie community there, free from the ads and bots that pepper (see what I did there?) other social media sites. I thought I’d share some of my posts and photos from there.
A couple of my favourite lines (if I must say so myself):
- Pierogi are to potatoes what croissants are to dough.
- When life gives you almond cookies, make ice-cream sandwiches.

Do you think I should rebrand as a food poet, as opposed to a home cook? I’d be interested to hear what you think!
